Dr. Amr Hosny is a Harvard-trained, board-certified interventional spine and pain management specialist dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, recover from injuries, and return to a normal lifestyle without surgery as quickly as possible.
After completing his residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Hosny completed his fellowship in interventional spine surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Since then, for more than 15 years, Dr. Hosny has been a leading physician in interventional spine surgery in New York and New Jersey. His practice is dedicated to the nonsurgical treatment of painful conditions, including neck & back pain, herniated & bulging discs, sciatica, joint pain, sports injuries and other orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Hosny’s multidisciplinary approach begins with establishing the correct diagnosis through a thorough history and physical examination combined with state-of-the-art imaging and electrodiagnostic testing, after which he develops and implements a comprehensive treatment plan for his patients.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Hosny served as an assistant professor at New York Medical College and as the chief and program director of the Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine Fellowship Program at the School of Medicine. Dr. Hosny has trained more than 100 residents and fellows and has been involved in educating and evaluating numerous medical students.
Dr. Hosny’s expertise in interventional spine surgery and his dedication to his patients have been recognized by Castle Connolly & Healthgrades. Dr. Hosny has been recognized as a Top Doctor in New York and New Jersey by Castle Connolly from 2013 to 2018 and is also a recognized physician on the Healthgrades Honor Roll.
